First time:


$ ssh mymachine
$ screen
$ CTRL-a-c
$ CTRL-a-1
$ CRTL-a-d
$ exit

Future times:

$ ssh mymachine
$ screen -r
$ CTRL-a-2
$ CTRL-a-d
$ exit
